Oct. 28--Developers of a proposed 28,000-square-foot office building on Duluth's Central Entrance plan to break ground in spring 2007.
The three-story Central Heights Office Building will be constructed on two landscaped acres between Pecan and Blackman avenues, according to designs with the Duluth Planning Commission.
The professional office complex also will have underground parking, said Duluth developer Ray Sande of USANDE LLC. The Planning Commission unanimously approved his plan reviews earlier this week.
The building and its 39-stall surface parking lot will have a three-stage storm water treatment system located on land below Central High School. The developers removed three single-family homes to build the project.
Sande said he expects construction to be completed by early fall 2007.
