It was time for Bosch Security's Canadian operations to make a move.
The company announced on Friday that it has decided to move the Canadian operations to the company's new Robert Bosch Canada building in the Greater Toronto area. The facility offers 181,000 square feet of sales, marketing and distribution space, a size that is double the space of the former facility.
According to a news release from Bosch, the new building will house a number of different Bosch business lines, and is already home to Bosch's automotive and power tool businesses.
The move puts the company in Mississauga, Ontarion, near such industry "big boys" as Microsoft, Dupont and GlaxoSmithKline pharmaceuticals. Bosch also reports that the facility is close to the Toronto International Airport, and is read to host "major international meetings."
