Ohio State Medical Center Planning Expantion of Digestive Disease Building

According to MSNBC, Ohio State University Medical Center?s digestive-disease program will receive $19.5 million to add a five-story addition to the building and to repair the second floor of North Doan Hall. Expanding the building will double the number of faculty offices and triple the number of rooms available for procedures.

Ohio State is also planning to expand the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and the Richard J. Solove Research Institute over the course of the next 10 years. A $150 million biomedical research tower is currently under construction with a completion date in 2006.
