Henry Bros. Acquires Leading Integrator Securus

Jersey company buys its way into one of top growing market areas with acquisition

New Jersey-based Henry Bros. Electronics, an integrator of electronic security systems, has acquired independent and privately held Colorado-based integrator Securus Inc. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Securus Inc., which was founded in 1969, has been turning roughly $5 million in annual revenues, and has served as the Denver office of the PSA Security Network. The company, which maintains some 200 integrated systems, has been involved in a variety of projects with Fortune 500 companies, retail chains like Safeway Stores, as well as top companies such as IBM and Pepsi and a number of government agencies.

As part of the acquisition, Securus' Jeffrey Marcus will be continuing in his position as vice president/general manager. Marcus has served as board chairman for PSA.
