W.Va. County Tax Office Seeks Security Alarm Assessment and System Upgrade

Martinsburg, W.Va., recently fell victim to a break-in at the county tax office. The (Md.) Herald-Mail reported that Berkeley County, W.Va.'s tax offices were victimized in October when thieves struck the buildings' teller stations. The building had alarm.
Recently, the county sheriff Randy Smith told county commissioners that it would be worth considering having a professional security firm assess the facility and make a recommendation for an alarm system, and according to The Herald-Mail, commissioners plan to seek reviews of the building's security and alarm system.
