New Restauraunt Gets Ok for Location in Northampton Co., Pa.

Oct. 20, 2004

The Bethlehem Township commissioners granted approval Monday to several development projects, including a Ruby Tuesday restaurant and a PNC Bank, both on Freemansburg Avenue.

The 4,658-square-foot restaurant, to be within Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VI, on the northeastern corner of Freemansburg Avenue and Emrick Boulevard, is set to include seats for 201 patrons and 125 cars.

Township officials concerned about the streetscape were able to work with the restaurant's representatives to move the establishment's parking to the rear of the building, as township planners had hoped, instead of the front, where it originally had been planned.

Ruby Tuesday will be close to an Outback Steakhouse restaurant already in operation in the industrial park.
