Indianapolis city officials are in the process of using an outsourced firm to seek a site for a new stadium

Indianapolis city officials are in the process of using an outsourced firm to seek a site for a new stadium, according to a news report in the Indianapolis Star. The city currently uses the RCA Dome, but according to the report the dome will likely need to be demolished to make way for an expected expansion of the city's convention center. Number of seats for the new stadium have been placed between 63,000 and 73,000 with a cost of $450 million or more for the new arena according to the report.
