Rolling Meadows, IL - - The new NITEK Model TS510M, is a single channel Video & Power transmission system for operation up to 1,000 feet over UTP cables. The system sends power over the UTP to a fixed camera, allowing the camera supply to be more conveniently located at the head-end instead of the camera location. Video from the camera is sent back from a NITEK VB43ATF Balun Combiner over another pair of the UTP to a NITEK active receiver. The same supply is used to power the camera and the NITEK active receiver. Both the Balun Combiner and Active Receiver are included in the TS510M package. The Receiver and Balun Combiner have RJ45 modular jacks for ease of connection and both also have power presence LED’s, a helpful feature during installation. The TR510 Receiver includes a video presence LED. The active receiver utilizes the NITEK time proven, no drift digital dip switches, that provide accurate distance settings for the adjustment of NITEK’s unique compensation/amplification circuits that provide optimum video quality. “With so many CCTV installations now incorporating DVR’s, the TS510M system is a perfect solution combining a method of powering cameras from the head-end, simple connections and 1Vpp high quality videoâ€, according to Chad Szekeres, NITEK National Sales Manager. The system also provides the very important features of ground loop isolation and greater than 70dB noise immunity, so that multiple signals may be run in a single cable jacket without interference.
The TS510M operates with all standard CCTV equipment; i.e., cameras, monitors, DVR’s, matrixes, multiplexers and switchers, etc.
