Clovis, CA -- Pelco management is pleased to announce that Carrie Migliore, Executive Vice President of the Central California-based video security manufacturer, was recently named Professional Business Woman of the Year by the Clovis Chamber of Commerce at its 15th Annual Salute to Business Awards. The luncheon ceremony, held at the Clovis Veterans' Memorial Building, draws hundreds of business and civic leaders from throughout the community each year.

"While working tirelessly from behind the scenes, Carrie is not one to seek recognition or the spotlight for her tremendous efforts," said Pelco President and CEO David L. McDonald. "So it is wonderful to see her efforts acknowledged by the community."

Jim Ware, Clovis Chamber President and CEO said, "Carrie showed her integrity, commitment and strong belief system while serving on our Board of Directors and during her service at Pelco." Ware also commented that Migliore is a driving force who has helped transform Pelco into the industry leader it is today.

"I served with Carrie when she was a director. She is a lovely woman, and I'm happy that she is now in the company of those of us who have been honored as Business Woman of the Year," said Ellie Huston, who has been on the Chamber Board of Directors for 12 of the past 13 years, most recently serving as Chairman of the Board.

"I am very honored," Migliore stated. "I thank everyone at Pelco for their support. You are the best group of associates I have ever worked with, and I share this award with you."

This California State University Fresno graduate feels a strong desire to give back to her community and plays an active role in the record-setting efforts of Pelco each year for its U.S. Marine Corps Toys-for-Tots program. Most recently, Pelco netted some 142,000 gifts for needy children during the holidays.

Migliore began her career with Pelco in 1988 as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 1996. Most recently, her promotion to Executive Vice President was in recognition of her many continuing and outstanding contributions toward the company's success.

Clovis, a community of nearly 90,000 people located in Fresno County, has been able to maintain its small-town community spirit and pride as envisioned by its early founders.
