USProtect Announces New Vice President of Proposal Management

George Ware to oversee contract proposals for leading physical security and force protection firm

USProtect, a leading provider of physical security, force protection, risk assessment and emergency preparedness services exclusively to the United States Federal Government, announced that George Ware has joined the company as Vice President, Proposal Management.

As vice president of proposal management, Ware is responsible for the preparation and oversight of all contract proposals for USProtect. His duties include identifying potential business opportunities, marketing, and developing competitive strategies. In addition, he is responsible for project scheduling, proposal operating expenses, qualification packages and corporate capabilities marketing material. Ware brings to USProtect a wealth of expertise and more than 25 years experience in developing winning business proposals.

Ware has served in a variety of leadership and executive positions within marketing, communications and business proposal development. With an established win rate on average of better than 80 percent over the last five years, he has developed an extraordinary range of successful proposals up to and including contracts valued at $1 billion. His considerable professional experience also includes supervising proposal staffs of more than 36 personnel and preparing proposals for a division of more than 8,000 people. He has developed and led domestic and international proposals, prepared strategic business plans, and established capture plans for new Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Additionally, Ware has developed and conducted training on proposal planning, writing, and capture management.

Ware holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Holy Cross and a Master of Arts Degree in History from the University of Maryland.
