Animetrics, Inc. Appoints Lisa M. Ludwig Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

High-tech marketing veteran tasked with delivering Animetrics' 3D imaging and analysis solutions to facial recognition market

Animetrics Inc., a leading software developer of 3D imaging and analysis software for facial biometric systems, today announced the appointment of Lisa M. Ludwig as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Ludwig will oversee all aspects of Animetrics' go-to-market activities including product management, product marketing, marketing communications, and business development. Ludwig joins President and CEO Paul Schuepp and Chief Scientist Dr. Michael Miller to round out the Animetrics management team.

Ludwig joins Animetrics from Ericsson, Swedish telecommunications giant, where she was Director of Worldwide Marketing. At Ericsson, Ludwig was responsible for product management and marketing of Ericsson's networking software products supporting fixed and mobile IP networks. Ludwig also served as Chairman of the Steering Board for Ericsson IP Infrastructure -- driving the company's future direction and resources for IP solutions.

Prior to Ericsson, Ludwig was Director of Marketing at Data General Corporation where she drove product management and marketing for its Windows NT solutions. Earlier in her career, Lisa held leadership positions at Stratus Computer, Cascade Communications, and NEC Technologies.
