Alexandria, VA -- The Security Industry Association (SIA) is proud to announce the appointment of Frank DeFina, Panasonic System Solutions Company (PSSA), to the Executive Committee of its board of directors. DeFina has accepted the position of secretary of the Association.
“I am honored to accept the nomination to SIA’s Executive Committee,†said DeFina. “The security industry is constantly changing and SIA is poised to embrace these changes and grow with them. Serving on the board is an opportunity to help shape the Association’s future, as well as that of the industry.â€
DeFina joins the Association’s Executive Committee after serving as a director on its board and a member of its Education and Training Committee. DeFina currently sits on SIA’s Marketing and Membership Committee.
DeFina is the President of PSSA, which markets the industry’s leading line of video security and surveillance systems products; iris recognition systems for access control and identity management; industrial and medical imaging products; point of sale and wireless audio systems for the restaurant and hospitality industry; and Astrovision® large screen display systems.
Prior to his appointment with PSSA (formerly Panasonic Digital Communications & Security Company), DeFina was President of Panasonic Broadcast & Television Systems Company, while concurrently serving as President of Panasonic Security & Digital Imaging Company.
