Tri-Ed's Technology Tour, testament to the distribution company's commitment to training, will make a stop in Milford, Connecticut on October 6, 2005. The full day training event and exposition will take place at the Four Points Sheraton Meriden located at 275 Research Parkway in Meriden, Connecticut. Encompassing everything from technical seminars (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)to tabletop displays to a buffer dinner, casino night and prizes, the Technology Tour promises to deliver the goods dealers need to stay competitive.
Industry manufacturers hosting seminars include GE Security (GE Wireless Sensors); Samsung/GVI (CCTV Solutions from Samsung/GVI); Dedicated Micros (Digital Recording and Network Video Transmission); Toshiba (Surveillix EVR/DVR Certification Program); Kantech/American Dynamics (Integrated Access Control & Digital Video Solution); DSC (Have a Look at Visual Verification); Xantech (From IR to IP and Everything In Between); and Tri-Ed's own Home Theater Design seminar. Boxed lunches will be provided for all seminar attendees through 3 p.m.
The Table Top Exposition kicks off at 5 p.m, and will run through 7 p.m. Participating manufacturers include: M&S Systems, Edwards Signaling & Security Systems, RCI, Aiphone, EverFocus, Securitron, Altronix, IEI, HAI, Pelco, Speco Technologies, Rainbow CCTV, Potter, FireLite Alarms by Honeywell, Tamron,, Linear, Bosch, System Sensor, ChannelPlus, Open House, and Silent Knight by Honeywell. A buffet dinner will be served in conjunction with the Expo.
After a day of extensive training and product displays, dealers can relax and enjoy a Casino Night and prize drawings from 7 to 9 p.m. (For each seminar attended, guests will receive one free raffle ticket good toward an exclusive prize draw that's available to seminar attendees only.)
