Sanyo Names Frank Abram V.P. of Sales and Marketing

Abram to head up sales and business development for security products division

Sanyo Security Products has announced that veteran security industry executive Frank Abram has been named Vice President of Sales and Marketing effective immediately. In his new position, Abram will be responsible for sales and new business development of the Security Products Division and will report to Masafumi Nakano, Vice President, General Manager of the Security Products Division.

In making the announcement, Nakano said, "We are pleased to have this experienced security industry leader manage the sales of our fast-growing Security Products Division. The industry's response to Sanyo's new security products introductions has exceeded our expectations, and we anticipate that Frank Abram will only add to Sanyo's growth in the market."

Abram commented, "Sanyo has a great deal of technology to offer the security market and I look forward to working with Sanyo's established sales force in migrating from stand-alone product to systems integration. I also intend to break new ground in bringing product service and training to a whole new level."

Abram has served the security industry for over thirty years in a variety of sales and marketing management positions. Prior to joining Sanyo Security Products, Abram was Vice President, Panasonic Security Systems Group.

Abram has served two terms on the board of the Security Industry Association (SIA). He is a published author to industry and trade related publications as well as a sought after lecturer in the security field. Recognized throughout the industry as an expert in his field, Abram was invited to testify before a Congressional Subcommittee on security industry matters in the aftermath of September 11th.
