Las Vegas, NV -- American Fibertek, Inc. (AFI) has announced the appointment of Neil Heller to the position of Director of New Business Development here at ISCW 2005. The announcement was made by AFI President and CEO Jack Fernandes and is effective immediately. Mr. Heller will be responsible for helping AFI develop new product strategies aimed at increasing the company's continued deployment of transmission solutions for evolving systems applications.
"Neil has tremendous systems experience in the security industry that will help American Fibertek continue to develop and deploy new digital transmission technologies for advanced applications," said Mr. Fernandes. "As the industry's migration to a truly digital platform continues to grow at an accelerated pace, American Fibertek is positioning itself to anticipate and meet the industry's transmission needs."
Mr. Heller will be instrumental in developing new transmission systems. Prior to his appointment at AFI, Mr. Heller was most recently Group Manager of Product Marketing at Panasonic Security Systems. Previous positions include Mr. Heller's tenure as Western Regional Manager for Sensormatic and as National Product Marketing Manager for Sanyo Fischer Company where he was also actively involved with product development, marketing and sales. Mr. Heller brings 30 years of experience in the video surveillance category to AFI.
