March Networks, a provider of IP-based digital video surveillance solutions focused on the security industry, announced today that three new directors have joined its board of directors. Chris Burke, Peter Charbonneau and David Homer joined the board in early 2005.
Burke was formerly the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer of Vodafone UK Ltd. and has more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector in the U.K. and Canada. He currently serves on the board of directors for a number of technology companies, including Ubiquity Software Corporation and Oz Communications, Inc. Burke is a member of the March Networks compensation committee and the nominating and governance committee.
Charbonneau is currently a General Partner at Skypoint Capital Corporation and serves on the board of directors for a number of technology companies, including BreconRidge Manufacturing Solutions Corporation and Mitel Networks Corporation. Previously, he spent 13 years at Newbridge Networks Corporation acting as Chief Financial Officer, President and Chief Operating Officer, and Vice Chairman. Charbonneau has been elected a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and, upon joining the board, was appointed Chair of the March Networks audit committee.
Homer is currently Director, Strategic Outsourcing at IBM Global Services. He first joined IBM in 1984 and has held strategic business development and sales positions with IBM, working closely with its telecommunications industry clients such as British Telecommunications and Cable & Wireless in the U.K., Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Homer is a member of the March Networks audit committee and the nominating and governance committee.
