Companies recognized for being among North America’s fastest growing integrators

Exton, Pa. – April 10, 2012 – Security-Net, a global provider of security integration services, announced today that seven of its member companies have been recognized as part of the prestigious Security Dealer & Integrator's Fast50 list. The Fast50 is the first-ever ranking of the fastest growing system integrators in North America.

SD&I announced the Fast50 at the ISC West Security Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas on March 28 by holding an awards ceremony to recognize the list's top ten companies. The organizers of ISC West and the Security Industry Association participated in the presentation of the awards.

Placing the highest on the list of Security-Net members was Indianapolis-based Koorsen Security Technology with a ranking of 7th on the Fast50 list. Koorsen is known in the market for specializing in enterprise class products and systems integration projects involving video surveillance and access control. Rankings for the Fast50 are based on a formula that evaluates revenue and percentage growth over two consecutive years.

"SD&I Fast50 companies are proof positive that innovative companies can grow, even during a recession. They know what their customers need and how to provide the right services to vertical markets," said Security Dealer & Integrator Editor Deborah O'Mara.

O'Mara added that the fastest growing vertical markets for systems integrators are the education and healthcare markets. "In terms of product categories, access control and video surveillance were at the top with IT security close behind," she said.

In addition to Koorsen Security Technology, six other Security-Net members were listed in the SD&I Fast50. That list included Intertech Security, ranking 31st on the list. Intertech is located in Pittsburgh and specializes in protecting corporate, educational, healthcare, government and residential facilities. The Protection Bureau, one of the largest system integrators in the Mid-Atlantic Region that specializes in fire alarm installation, placed 37th in the Fast50. The Protection Bureau is based in Exton, Pa.

CGL Electronic Security of Norwood, Mass., was 39th on the list, followed by SFI Electronics of Charlotte, N.C., which specializes in custom surveillance, at No. 41. APL Access & Security, Inc., committed to providing cutting-edge security, of Gilbert, Ariz., was 48th on the list. Vision Security Technologies of Birmingham, Ala., a company that specializes in the design, sales and installation of security management systems, placed 49th on the list.

"Having seven Security-Net member companies appear on the Fast50 list speaks to the innovation and reputation of our member companies and reinforces the strength and influence of the overall Security-Net organization," said Joe Liguori, President, Board of Directors of Security-Net. "I'm very proud to be a leader of a business which continues to play such a strong role in the security industry."
