Thermal imaging firm Flir recently entered into an agreement to purchase Canada-based camera maker Lorex. Though Lorex's products are tailored more for the consumer and small business market, Andy Teich, president of Flir's commercial systems division, said the acquisition fits into the company’s strategy of eventually being able to provide thermal imaging to a broader customer base.
