Steady growth for private security services

Global demand for private contract security services, such as alarm monitoring, systems integration and guard services, is expected grow by seven percent annually to $244 billion in 2016, according to a new report from The Freedonia Group. Among the growth drivers cited by the report include; real and perceived risks of crime and terrorism; increasing urbanization; lack of faith in public security measures; and, a growth in the middle class to pay for these services.
