Kastle Systems announced this week that it has acquired CheckVideo, a provider of cloud-based intelligent video surveillance and alarm verification solutions. Brian Eckert, executive vice president at Kastle, said that the acquisition would give the company an accelerated position in the managed video services market and also help CheckVideo grow within its existing network of channel partners. CheckVideo will retain its brand identity and continue to operate independently.
