Market research firms are expecting strong demand for mass notification and container tracking systems over the next several years. According to a new report from IMS Research, spending on mass notification systems in North America is forecast to increase from $1.6 billion in 2013 to $2.1 billion in 2017. New research from telecom business intelligence firm Berg Insight predicts that the number of container tracking units deployed on intermodal shipping containers to grow from 137,000 in Q4 2012 to 1 million by 2017.
