ADT recently announced in its third-quarter earnings report that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Florida-based Devcon Security for $148.5 million. The acquisition will reportedly give ADT an additional 117,000 customers generating $3.6 million in recurring monthly revenue. The acquisition is expected to close early this month.
