SIA Veterans in Security Reception to Honor Military Service

The Security Industry Association (SIA) will host a “Veterans in Security” reception on November 12 to salute veterans and bring together security-industry professionals and military service members.

The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at the National Museum of the Marine Corps’ Leatherneck Gallery in Triangle, Virginia (1775 Semper Fidelis Way).

The reception, sponsored by ASSA ABLOY and Verkada,  is open to those who have served in the armed forces and to other security-professionals, affirming the industry’s recognition of military experience and talent.

Set against the backdrop of the 250th anniversaries of the Army, Navy and Marine Corps, the evening aims to connect veteran talent with the security sector’s workforce and networking opportunities in a venue steeped in military heritage.
