ESA kicks off 2013 Leadership Summit

Leading security firms gather in Orlando

The ESA Leadership Summit kicked off today with sessions and activities from leading integration and alarm dealer firms in the industry. The Summit is designed for companies and their leaders to share best practices and network together further propel the industry into a new age era of systems and services.

Featured activities during the week will include the annual ESA Diamond Celebration, sponsored by Interlogix, four seminar tracks on crucial industry education topics, the Showcase Meeting Area for interactions between attendees and vendors and informative general sessions ranging from: “Finding Your Place in the Residential Interactive Services Market;” “State of the Art in Retail Security and Complementary Technology Solutions;” and “Experience the Experience Experts.” In addition, ESA will present its annual MegaTrends Survey that will provide an in-depth capsule of future industry direction. Finally, many association meetings among various committees are also scheduled for the event.

“We’ve got an amazing week of events designed to help security integration companies find new opportunities, share and learn best practices from industry leaders and network with their peers and colleagues from throughout the country,” said Merlin Guilbeau, ESA’s Executive Director and CEO.

ESA will also present its first SECURE+ awards, designed to recognize and honor those companies moving to the automation and lifestyles services in the marketplace.

The Summit, which has previously been held in Irving, Texas, is being held in Orlando in conjunction with the first ESA of Florida (ESA-FL) Annual Convention.
