Medfield, MA, June 8, 2012 – Comark Corporation, a leader in the design and manufacture of life-safety rated computer and display solutions for the building automation market, announced today enhancements for its UL864 9th Edition/ULC S527/UL 2572 recognized rackmount computer. Processor support has been expanded to include Intel second generation Sandy Bridge i5, i7, or Dual Xeon processing and storage options now include hot swappable, mirrored SATA hard drives, up to 2TB each. The 4U computer is used in a wide variety of applications, including fire alarm, access control, mass notification, security monitoring, medical imaging and patient monitoring systems. UL864 9th Edition testing was completed by Underwriters Labs in Northbrook, IL.
