D-Tools announced the launch of the D-Tools Cloud Mobile App, a native iOS and Android application designed to extend D-Tools Cloud into the field.

The company said the app provides integrators with an offline-capable way to manage projects, track time and stay connected wherever the workday happens. It is built for technicians, project managers and office staff and is intended to keep teams aligned whether they are on a jobsite, on the road or working across multiple locations.

“Everyone is on the go — we live on our phones, and our work lives there, too,” said Randy Stearns, CEO of D-Tools. “Integrators need tools that move with them, adapt to the unpredictable nature of the jobsite and keep the whole team connected no matter where they are. The D-Tools Cloud Mobile App is a game-changer, providing real-time visibility and flexibility to stay aligned from the field while adding enhanced functionality to the scheduling, task management and timekeeping modules.”

According to the company, the app consolidates essential field and office workflows into a single mobile workspace. Users can check schedules, track progress, log time, access notes and tasks and communicate with teammates both online and offline.

Field technicians can view assignments, log hours, capture notes and stay informed through in-app chat and optional customer SMS messaging. Office teams can monitor activity, manage schedules and service calls and update opportunities and inventory from anywhere.

The company highlighted features including native iOS and Android apps for phone and tablet use, offline mode with automatic background sync, push notifications, a streamlined mobile user interface for field and office workflows, calendar, task, service call and time entry management, in-app chat with optional customer SMS, project-first task management with unified notes and mobile access to schedules, opportunities and inventory.

The company said the app is designed to support mobility, efficiency, connectivity and continuity by enabling work across desktop and mobile using the same D-Tools Cloud account.

The D-Tools Cloud Mobile App is available now as a free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
