Antaira Technologies Launches Multi-Port PoE Surge Protection Series

Antaira Technologies' LSP Series provides multi-port surge protection for PoE-powered devices in industrial and outdoor network environments.
Antaira Technologies has announced the immediate availability of its LSP Series, a new line of multi-port Power-over-Ethernet surge protection devices designed to protect industrial networks and connected PoE devices from lightning strikes, electrical surges and transient voltage spikes.
The LSP Series is IP30-rated and can be mounted on a DIN rail or wall. The devices are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 167°F (-40°C to 75°C), targeting industrial environments where PoE-connected infrastructure requires protection from electrical events.
"Our new LSP Series safeguards PoE devices up to 100W, ensuring operational continuity for the critical systems that depend on them," said Joe Cook, General Manager of Antaira Technologies. "As PoE power budgets continue to grow and network speeds of up to 10GbE become increasingly common, that level of protection isn't optional anymore — it's foundational."
Two Models Support Multi-Port Protection
The series is available in two configurations: the LSP-0200X-bt-100-T, which supports two data lines, and the LSP-0400X-bt-100-T, which supports four data lines. Both models provide 100W 802.3bt PoE++ pass-through per data line and support data speeds from 10/100M up to 10GbE.
According to Antaira, the multi-port design offers integrators and IT teams a lower cost per port and simpler installation compared with single-port units. The devices are intended for large-scale deployments at utility sites, warehouses, transportation hubs and industrial plants.
The LSP Series is engineered to absorb and redirect up to 10kA of surge energy away from PoE-powered devices. Potential applications include security and surveillance systems, intelligent transportation infrastructure, wireless networking, industrial automation, smart city infrastructure, building automation, energy and utility systems and transportation facilities.
For security applications, the devices can be used to protect IP cameras deployed at building perimeters, parking lots, traffic intersections and campuses, as well as other outdoor installations. Additional applications include PoE-powered access control systems, intercoms and IP speakers.
The Antaira LSP-0200X-bt-100-T and LSP-0400X-bt-100-T surge protectors are available now.
