IVA Pro Perimeter layers multiple technologies to enhance detection while minimizing false positives. The software provides early and reliable detection of intruders alongside perimeters of buildings and critical sites, at long distances and in challenging environmental and lighting conditions, including low contrast scenes. False positive triggers, such as dust particles, vehicle headlights, and more are ignored.
IVA Pro Perimeter enables instant alerts when a person or vehicle is in the proximity of a perimeter when virtual zones are defined. Early detection gives operators more time to make appropriate decisions based on real-time data, including geolocation, object type, speed, and size to help minimize damage or theft. It also notifies upon perimeter breaches – providing reliable detection and classification of a person even when disguised or moving suspiciously, such as when rolling or crawling.
The software is easily scalable to meet customer requirements. Additionally, it offers easy setup with Person-based Autocalibration.
IVA Pro Perimeter uses neural network-based detectors, which excel at detecting the things they are trained for, such as individuals or vehicles. They detect them immediately even in crowded scenes and are more reliable and accurate than the previous generation of optical flow analytics. However, these AI detectors can have difficulty detecting and classifying a person who is rolling, crawling, or has cloaked themselves. Therefore, the new IVA Pro Perimeter layers advanced background subtraction and optical flow analysis that is highly sensitive to directed motion with AI object detectors. As a result, the analytics detect and classify objects as individuals even if they are crawling, rolling, or covering themselves with a blanket.
The new IVA Pro Perimeter also includes person-based autocalibration, which makes it scalable and easy to deploy. Cameras with IVA Pro Perimeter use AI technology to detect and analyze individuals in the scene in order to determine calibration parameters. Calibration is reduced to a single click, followed by manual verification. Camera calibration enables the analytics to provide data on geolocation, object speed and size.
