AS&E receives $2.2M order from Middle Eastern law enforcement agency

Company's detection systems to be utilized for urban surveillance

BILLERICA, Mass. – Jan. 5, 2009 – American Science and Engineering, Inc., a leading worldwide supplier of innovative X-ray detection solutions, announced today the receipt of an order from a Middle East law enforcement agency for multiple Z Backscatter Vans (ZBV). The $2.2 million order includes AS&E-provided operator training, service, and warranty.
