A Jackson, Mich., high school student accused of threatening to kill a school employee has been arraigned on a charge of making terrorist threats.
Police officers in Jackson County's Blackman Township arrested the 17-year-old on Thursday. District Judge James Justin on Friday ordered that he remain in the Jackson County Jail pending a bond investigation.
If convicted, the teen faces up to 20 years in prison.
Authorities said the teen, a student at an alternative high school in Northwest Community Schools, threatened to get a gun and shoot a high school employee Sept. 25 at Northwest High School football stadium.
No weapons were involved and there was no assault.
