Stephanie Siegmann, a former Navy JAG and national security prosecutor, is a litigation partner at Hinckley Allen, Chair of the International Trade & National Security Group, and Co-Chair of the Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection group. With over 25 years of trial experience, she specializes in high-stakes criminal and civil litigation, sensitive internal investigations, and government enforcement actions, particularly in cybersecurity and national security issues. Previously, Stephanie served as National Security Chief at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts, overseeing prominent national security cases, including cyber intrusions, terrorism, export control violations, and intellectual property theft.

She brings invaluable insight into national security laws, crisis management, and white-collar defense. Stephanie’s practice includes defending companies and individuals in complex government investigations, advising on compliance programs, and responding to regulatory inquiries and enforcement actions. Her expertise covers export controls, sanctions, AI tools, anti-money laundering, and intellectual property protections. In her Navy JAG role and as a national security prosecutor, Stephanie handled cases involving violent crimes, fraud, and cybersecurity threats, including notable prosecutions against international entities involved in espionage, terrorist threats, and obstruction in high-profile cases like the Boston Marathon bombing investigation.
