The CDC has placed parts of North Texas on High Alert for COVID-19 Infections. Dallas, Tarrant and Collin counties are now in the high-risk or red category of COVID-19 spread. Dallas County has raised its COVID-19 Risk Level rating to orange - Extreme Caution, citing the highly infectious nature of the Delta variant such as is occurring in North Texas.

In response, the Global Security Operations (GSO) security summit – known as "the security event like no other" – has been moved to November 2-3, 2022. The summit is still being held at the global headquarters of Vari® (formerly VariDesk®) in Irving, TX. It is the only event dedicated to taking a 3- to 5-year look ahead at where security leadership and advancing security technology are going - and how that impacts corporate security programs and enterprise security technology deployments. Hence the event name: GSO 2025.

Attendance is limited to 50 security practitioners with regional, national, or global security program or technology responsibilities. Registration remains open, and upon registration attendees are provided with two security leadership books of their choice and a free leadership self-assessment test.
