Theia Technologies provides ultra wide, no fisheye distortion, megapixel lenses. Our award winning, patented Linear Optical Technology offers up to 135-degree horizontal field of view and real-time distortion correction without using software, presenting straight lines straight.
Theia's lenses enable a crisp, clear image with increased resolution at the edges of the image, improving the ability to detect and recognize subjects compared to typical wide lenses. Theia's ultra wide angle allows coverage of more area with fewer cameras.
Our lenses are designed and marketed from the U.S., but manufactured in Asia to ISO 9001 standards. Theia currently offers two lens families: the SY125 lens provides up to 135 degree horizontal FOV with a 1/ 2.5" sensor, and is good for use with up to 5MP cameras. Our SY110 multi-megapixel lens provides up to 120 degree HFOV with a 1/2.5" sensor and is IR corrected for use with day/night cameras. Both lenses are offered in auto or manual iris versions as well as CS mounts; the 125 lens is also offered in a C mount version.
In Q3 2010, Theia will launch two new megapixel lenses, an ultra wide undistorted varifocal lens, as well as an IR corrected 5 megapixel telephoto lens. Both lenses will be offered in CS and board mount versions.
Theia also can provide optical engineering services, custom and prototype lenses to specification in visible and near IR light, aspherical, plastics, low dispersion, and high index glasses. For more information, visit www.TheiaTech.com, or e-mail us at [email protected].
