SNC-EB520, SNC-EM520 & SNC-EM521 Standard Definition cameras

Sony Electronics has announced three new standard definition network cameras, the fixed-angle SNC-EB520 (below), the Minidome SNC-EM520, and the Minidome vandal proof SNC-EM521 — all of which are capable of capturing images at 30 fps in either H.264, MPEG4 or JPEG compression. All three cameras use the high performance 1/3 type progressive scan Exmor CMOS sensor with a native resolution of 1.4 megapixels and support resolutions from 800x600 (SVGA) to 320x240 (QVGA). Each has a vari-focal lens. The network cameras also receive Power over Ethernet (PoE), making installation simple and increasing the flexibility of where the cameras can be used.
