Q1910 and Q1910-E capable of detecting people, incidents in complete darkness

Axis Communications has introduced the AXIS Q1910 and AXIS Q1910-E Thermal Network Cameras, which use thermal imaging to enable users to detect people and incidents even in complete darkness and other difficult conditions. The Q1910 is designed for indoor surveillance, while the Q1910-E (pictured) is an IP66-rated, outdoor-ready camera. Both offer competitive thermal imaging capabilities such as 160 x128 resolution, 8.33 fps and 17° angle of view. In addition, they support key IP-Surveillance features such as H.264 and Motion JPEG, audio, local storage and Power over Ethernet. The ONVIF-ready cameras also feature a tampering alarm, motion detection and support for the AXIS Camera Application Platform. The new cameras utilize thermal imaging to allow users to detect people and incidents with great reliability even in complete darkness and other difficult conditions. The AXIS Q1910 is designed for indoor surveillance, while the AXIS Q1910-E is an IP66-rated, outdoor-ready camera.
