Thermal Analytics Processor for FLIR Cameras

FLIR and VideoIQ have partnered to provide a Thermal Analytics Processor solution for analytics, edge NVR storage and IP video encoding optimized for FLIR’s range of thermal cameras. The Thermal Analytics Processor’s adaptive analytics are specially tuned to get the most out of FLIR’s SR- and F-Series cameras. The Processor enables users to automatically classify detected objects as people, vehicles, or boats, delivering accuracy. The processor provides 160GB of on-board NVR storage, eliminating the need to stream images across a network to a central NVR and reducing network traffic and bandwidth by up to 90 percent. It supports integration with many VMS systems, including Genetec, Milestone, ONSSI, Lenel and VideoIQ View.
