Verkada’s latest PTZ offering, the CP52-E, leverages advanced AI-based analytics with “Sentry Mode.” Sentry Mode automatically detects people as they enter its field of view. Once detected, the camera autonomously pans, tilts, and adjusts its zoom to capture high-resolution images of the individual or group. The PTZ then follows the individual or group for roughly 5-15 seconds before then zooming out to provide a contextual view of the overall scene. Sentry Mode is fully automated—requiring no manual intervention—and enables you to consistently capture high-quality images of activities in the region of interest, 24/7.
