It is well understood by the video surveillance industry that current cloud solutions using the Internet for connectivity suffer from two common problems. The first one is the inability to use the Internet to reliably transmit and receive video recording without potential degradation of video quality.

This is well documented in IPVM’s article “TCP vs. UDP for Video Surveillance“. This means whatever you uploaded onto the cloud may not be a true representation of what you have recorded.  The second problem is there are no solutions to support reliable video uploading from mobile recording sites, such as buses, trains, and airplanes, or remote sites such as oil drilling platforms and ocean liners.

This webinar will present Rasilient’s NFDCloud technologies and family of system components, which enable you to design and build highly secured VMS agnostic cloud solutions to connect with stationary, mobile, or remote sites up to 6,000 miles away.  One can use commonly available Internet, mobile data, satellite data, and microwave services to upload recorded video onto highly secured storage systems without dropping a single frame.

These recording systems support simultaneous writing and reading of video and meta data to enable AI analysis, while providing individual user-controlled encryption for added level of security, as well as unlimited scalability. These storage systems can be deployed in private or public data centers.
