Antaira Introduces Ultra-Flat Industrial Ethernet Switch
Antaira Technologies announced the launch of its new FNP-0500G-T ultra-flat Ethernet switch, designed for control cabinets and other space-constrained industrial environments.
The unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch features an installation depth of 1.24 inches and is intended to provide high-speed connectivity while minimizing cabinet space requirements. Available in a five-port configuration, the FNP-0500G-T is designed to integrate into existing network topologies and support optimized control cabinet layouts.
According to the company, demand is increasing for compact networking equipment that does not compromise performance. The FNP-0500G-T is positioned as a space-saving solution that delivers Gigabit bandwidth for connected devices while maintaining industrial-grade reliability.
“Our new FNP-0500G-T switch mounts flat to a control panel or NEMA box, allowing a minimal depth requirement, with its distinctively flat, lightweight and compact form factor,” said Joe Cook, general manager of Antaira Technologies. “The FNP-0500G-T can be deployed in space-constrained environments to provide PoE+ power up to 30W per port to IP cameras, Lidar, industrial sensors, wireless radios and other PoE devices.”
The switch supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at Power over Ethernet, delivering up to 30 watts per port across four ports. It offers a total PoE power budget of up to 100 watts with a 48VDC input or up to 120 watts with a 56VDC input.
Additional features include an extended operating temperature range from -40°F to +167°F, support for DIN-rail or surface mounting and compliance with UL 60950-1, CE and FCC standards. The FNP-0500G-T also meets EMC, EMI and EMS requirements, complies with EN 60068-2-6, 27 and 32 standards for vibration, shock and free fall and is NDAA and TAA compliant.
