NVT Phybridge announces its latest innovation in long reach PoE switches – The FLEX 24 Port Managed Switch. The 24 port FLEX switch, part of the NVT Phybridge CHARIoT series, is designed to simplify PoE switch requirements as businesses look move to IP based physical security solutions. Flex can leverage 1, 2 or 4 pair UTP and deliver up to 100Mbps Ethernet (full duplex, symmetrical bandwidth) and PoE++ (50W) per port with 2,000ft (610m) reach. The switch can support endpoints within standard Ethernet reach without an adapter, and can support end point as far as 2,000ft away with the Flex Link Adapter.
The NVT Phybridge CHARIoT Series
The NVT Phybridge CHARIoT series helps customers establish a robust IP based local area network quickly, cost effectively and without sacrificing security. In addition to the FLEX, The CHARIoT Series includes:
- CLEER 24 port, EC 10 port, EC Link Extenders that delivers 100Mbps full duplex symmetrical and PoE+ (30W) per port over coax with 2000ft (610m) reach.
- PoLRE 24 or 48 port managed and 8 port unmanaged switches that delivers Ethernet and PoE over 1 pair UTP with up to 1,200ft (365m) reach.
