TRENDnet has released its 14-Outlet Managed 2U Rackmount Switched PDU, model TPI-L14, expanding its lineup of network-based power management solutions designed to provide monitoring and automation for connected equipment.
The rackmount switched PDU delivers intelligent power management through 14 individually controllable NEMA 5-15R outlets. The unit also includes dual gigabit ports that provide network redundancy, helping maintain connectivity in the event of a network issue.
The device is built with a fanless design intended to operate silently in rack environments. It also includes features such as power scheduling, AC filtering and automated reboot settings, which are designed to optimize energy use and protect connected equipment.
An integrated LCD screen provides users with power and network data directly on the device, allowing for at-a-glance monitoring.
TRENDnet said remote management is handled through its cloud-based platform, TRENDnet Hive, which allows users to control and monitor the PDU without requiring additional hardware or servers.
The TPI-L14 is designed to give network administrators greater control over power distribution while simplifying monitoring and management through integrated and cloud-based tools.
