New Holland, PA – April 12, 2012 – Copper and fiber optic cabling technology and solutions leader Berk-Tek, a Nexans Company, is pleased to announce Paul Trunk as the President of Berk-Tek and Vice President and General Manager of Nexans LAN Division North America, reporting to Steve Hall, Nexans Executive Vice President – North and South America.
Trunk replaces Kevin St.Cyr who had been with Berk-Tek for 16 years as President, and in previous positions as Product Group LAN Manager, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. St. Cyr recently resigned to pursue other business opportunities.
In this new role, Trunk is responsible for all Sales & Marketing, Operations, Research and Development, Human Resources, Finance and I.T. functions for the North America LAN division including both New Holland and Fuquay-Varina sites. Paul has 15 years of service with Berk-Tek as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing including two years as Regional Sales Manager. "Paul has delivered consistent operating profit and budgeted sales revenue, promoted the growth of the fiber assembly business, formed the NetClear alliance and developed the OEM and National Account programs," states Hall.
Trunk has over 35 years experience in Sales and Marketing and holds a Marketing MBA from DePaul University and a BA in Business Administration from St. Mary's College.
