Madrid location to help support increasing market demand

Genetec, a provider of IP security solutions, has opened a sales office in Spain as part of its "European growth strategy," the company said Thursday in a statement.

The Canadian-based company said that they opened the office in Madrid due to the increasing market demand for its solution and because they wanted to boost their presence in the region.

Genetec’s Regional Sales Manager Rafael Martin said in a press release that the Spanish and Portuguese markets hold "tremendous" potential for IP security solutions and that more and more industries in the region are looking into network security.

The Madrid office joins a host of other Genetec locations throughout Europe and the rest of the world, including Japan, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the U.S.
