Missouri-based Arteco Vision Systems has signed an agreement with Kerala State Electronic Development Corporation (Keltron) for marketing of Aretco's IVS surveillance gear in India.
Keltron is based in southwestern India, and provides integration services throughout the nation. Keltron will be offering the IVS surveillance products line, which offers "intelligent video", a.k.a., video analytics. The products are designed to aid in detecting abnormalities, or recognizing people and objects.
The agreement with Keltron is Arteco's first formal agreement for product marketing in India; the company had previously been focused on the United States and Europe, and Arteco's parent firm is based in Italy, although the company's surveillance solutions are driven primarily from the U.S. office.
