A news report from WRAL-TV in North Carolina has announced that the Wake County Public School System is moving forward with a medium-sized surveillance system.
The school system recently added modular schools to keep up with growing demand for school services, and the school system has now decided to secure those facilities with a CCTV camera system.
Thirty-two cameras will be installed around three schools - Wakelon Elementary, Harris Creek Elementary and Forest Pines Elementary. According to WRAL-TV's report, many of the school districts facilities have only one camera, but because of the modular, multiple-entrance nature of these schools, they require additional surveillance.
