VVRD22X/DN surveillance camera offers 22:1 optical zoom, day/night imaging

Nov 2 2007, Reading, UK -- The new VVRD22X/DN multi-functional static dome from Vista is a true day/night camera which offers high quality images and a 22:1 optical zoom with preset operation.

The zoom can be linked to an alarm or integral video motion detection which will automatically zoom the camera from general surveillance of the whole area to a pre-set position, such as the call button in a car park.

Remote control is available via RS485 telemetry control. This allows it to be integrated with a variety of controllers including Vista DVRs, keyboards, matrices and the Smart range of transmission products as well as other third party CCTV systems.

Excellent picture quality is assured, no matter the lighting conditions; the cameras have the option of switching automatically or manually from day time colour operation to night time monochrome operation. The external control input option removes the possibility of any hunting. They are also able to fully integrate with Vista’s VIRP range of lighting units.

"The dome has been introduced to compliment the existing range of VZM internal and external 22:1 zoom cameras and offer the user a more comprehensive solution to their requirements," says Mark Pritchard, divisional director for Vista.
