Flexibility of IR200-36 design makes it a 'future proof' solution

Illumination distances and beam angles now can be easily customized to your exacting surveillance needs or environment using a single infrared illuminator. Videolarm announces general availability of its IR200-36 Infrared Illuminator for night video surveillance, the first fully adjustable IR illuminator designed to be "future proof" by eliminating the requirement to replace existing illuminators when surveillance needs or environments change.

"Purchasing a number of differing illuminators or replacing illuminators from year to year to match changing surveillance needs is extremely costly and time consuming,” said Ray Pagano, Videolarm president. "Our IR200-36 illuminator makes complex plans specifying numerous types of illuminators and budgeting for obsolescence now a thing of the past. The flexibility of the IR200-36 illuminator makes it the future proof solution. This is the one IR illuminator that will meet the surveillance needs of an organization today and can easily adapt to meet its night video surveillance needs in the future."

The IR200-36 provides superior nighttime and low-light video surveillance, illuminating distances from 100ft (30m) to 660ft (200m). With the IR illuminator’s patent-pending adjustment mechanism, the projecting beam angle can be easily adjusted manually from 30 , 45, and 60 using any flathead screwdriver and the adjustable IR power setting reduces hot spots and washouts associated with the combination of a day/night surveillance cameras. Weighing just 3.5 lbs. and measuring just 11.5” x 7.0” x 7.0”, the illuminator is suited for mounting in virtually any low-light outdoor environment.

Backed by a full five-year warranty, the IR illuminator’s housing is constructed from lightweight, rugged weather resistant aluminum and polycarbonate for longevity. LED technology delivers a 20,000-hour life expectancy and an integrated light sensor automatically activates and deactivates the infrared function. Other features include:

- Low, medium and high IR power settings
- Automatic fan for heat dissipation
- Surge Protection, user replaceable fuse
- Low power requirements, 15-42 watts
- Operating temperatures from -40OF to 120FF (-40FC to +49C F)
- Optional brackets & mounts available
