OTTAWA - March Networks, a leading provider of Internet Protocol (IP)-based digital video surveillance solutions, announced today that DHL Mexico has selected March Networks as the standard for digital video surveillance throughout its distribution centers and retail outlets.
Through four main hubs DHL Mexico handles greater than 13 million packages per year, has more than 1800 couriers, and operates approximately 1400 vehicles. They will deploy the March Networks digital video solution at more than 100 DHL distribution centers and retail outlets throughout the country.
The presence of advanced digital video will assist DHL Mexico in tracking lost and damaged packages within its distribution centers, and fighting narcotics trafficking and robberies within its retail stores. The surveillance system will also serve as a way of improving business operations and productivity.
