NVR includes Enhanced Command Center Application for management of video

Chelmsford, MA (October 1, 2006) - WebEyeAlert introduces the NVR+ 6.0 Network Video Recorder product suite, a solution that directly supports both analog and IP camera technologies, runs on an industry-standard PC, and records video from up-to-128 cameras in a single server. The NVR+ product suite is composed of the NVR+ Recording application, Web Server and Command Center Windows Client. The product offering integrates dependable network video recording technology, with patented motion-detection algorithm, industry-leading Web Server technology, smart recording, mega-pixel video support, and intelligent pre-post event recording.

The new NVR+ 6.0 and enhanced Command Center client adds support for audio recording, two-way audio communication, multiple graphical site map support with drag-and-drop set up, programmable PTZ touring capability, synchronized video playback of multiple cameras, and increased support for concurrent remote viewers.

The WebEyeAlert Command Center application includes support for display of video across multiple monitors and can be used for security center centralized video monitoring. The Command Center application also supports drag-and-drop configuration, hardware joystick control of PTZ cameras, grid view and spot monitor viewing of video, as well as user-customizable views.

Because the NVR+ Network Video Recorder solution utilizes IP network infrastructure, it can easily be integrated into a facility with existing structured network wiring, or a facility taking advantage of the newer, low cost wireless IP-based technologies. In either case, cameras can be set up anywhere on the network, with no need for dedicated coaxial “home run” wiring, with the result that setting up a new IP-based security system has never been easier or more cost effective.
