KBE, KBM series systems include universal housings, also available with Dinion IP cameras

Fairport, N.Y. - Bosch Security Systems, Inc., a full-line manufacturer of high-quality security solutions, announces the KBE and KBN Series prepackaged cameras equipped with universal housings. The new KBE/KBN Series also includes prepackaged Dinion IP cameras. Customers now have an even wider choice of general purpose, high performance and day/night cameras in plug-and-play packages that include the camera and lens installed and pre-wired into a Bosch housing.

The KBE and KBN Series packages feature Bosch’s line of Dinion, DinionXF or Dinion IP cameras and offer choices of a varifocal lens to fit a wide range of surveillance applications. Bosch’s award-winning 15-bit digital video processing with XF-Dynamic range image technology improves the DinionXF series’ ability to capture images and detect motion in low light and ultra high-contrast conditions with exceptional clarity and outstanding color accuracy. Dinion IP cameras provide a technology bridge between traditional analog video systems and the benefits of digital video solutions with an Ethernet and an analog connector.

The tamper-resistant UHI (indoor) and UHO (outdoor) housings improve camera protection and are rated IP66 and NEMA4X. These industry measures mean customers are getting the best possible protection against water access and temperature extremes in harsh environments. In addition, the UHI and UHO housings feature hinged side openings for easy installation and camera setup.

Camera packages are also available with transmitters for sending video signals over fiber optic or unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable.
